About
Hi — I’m Naru.
I’ve been decorating houses in Eorzea for years, mostly because I couldn’t stop. Friends started asking me to fix their plots, then friends of friends, and at some point it became obvious this was a thing I could actually offer properly rather than in bits and pieces between raid nights.
What I care about is the feeling of a room more than the furnishings in it. Anyone can place expensive items. Making a space feel like somebody lives there — that it has a history, that someone walked through it this morning — takes staging, restraint, and a lot of fussing over lighting.
I build on Crystal, mostly out of Zalera, and travel across North America for commissions. If you have a plot that’s been sitting half-finished for a year, that’s exactly the kind of thing I like getting.

How I think about rooms
Four things I believe about interiors.
These come up in nearly every commission, so it's worth saying them out loud before we start.
Rooms should look owned, not decorated.
A perfectly symmetrical room reads as a showroom. The trick is a handful of deliberate imperfections — a chair pushed back, a book left face-down, one drawer never quite closed. That's what turns a set of furnishings into somewhere a person lives.
Light before furniture.
Lighting is the cheapest change with the biggest return, and almost nobody does it on purpose. Two temperatures in one room will do more for the feel of it than another twenty items ever will.
Empty floor is a feature.
The hardest thing to talk a client out of is filling every corner. Negative space is what makes the things you do place register — and on a small plot it's the difference between cozy and cramped.
Build for how you actually play.
Where do you sit when you're idling? Do you host? Do you screenshot? A house that's beautiful and unusable is a failed design, so the layout gets settled around your habits before anything decorative goes down.
Where I build
Every district, every plot size.
Home is Zalera on Crystal, and I travel freely for North America commissions. EU and OCE builds are possible — scheduling just takes a bit more planning, so ask early.
Apartments and Free Company rooms are genuinely welcome, not a consolation prize. Constraints usually make for better design, and some of the builds I'm proudest of are the small ones.
